Ok Poultry peeps. Blood testing is on Sept 20th now. Blood has to be drawn 14 days before fair. It’s a Sunday. She wants to start in Berwick then Stillwater then drive to Millville and finish in Catawissa. I know Leaven’s want to start early, does anyone have a problem with this day?

Also the poultry show is now Tuesday of fair at 11:00. Just for this year. 🐓🐔🐥🐤🦆

There have been some changes! Poultry show will be on Tuesday this year.
And poultry blood test needs to be 14 days before the fair. So I will let you know when she picks a new day. Sorry

For the members that are showing poultry, the club will pay for you blood testing and shipping costs.
Thanks for coming to the meeting last night. Next meeting is at my house on Sept 21st. It’s the last meeting before fair. Try to make it.
We will talk about doing a Photo Booth and our Tree Fest decorations. Our theme will be Christmas with the Peanuts gang.

So this morning we woke up to a strange quacking in the yard. Somehow an Indian Running duck wandered in the yard. They aren’t able to fly, so not quite sure how it ended up here. It’s cute and not afraid of the craziness of our farm. It’s welcomed!

Hi guys! Don’t forget about our meeting on Monday evening at 6:30 at the Extension Office. Please try to attend our poultry tech will be there to arrange a date and times to do blood work. Also please bring your VCPR form. Bring your animals and we will work on showmanship.

To clear up some confusion about entering the Family Living show at the Bloomsburg fair. I fill out your entries on a yellow sheet. That way I know what you are entering and get your entries in the correct exhibit. So don’t worry about those entries I will fill those out and turn them in to Linda.
The rabbit and poultry entries you need to fill out yourself and send in before August 24th. Does this help? Please call me if you need help!

Thank you to the members that came to the meeting last night. Entries for the rabbits and poultry are due by August 24. Our next meeting is the 24th also. So if you need help completing your rabbit and poultry forms call me. Don’t forget to have your vet sign the vcpr form. They should not charge you for signing that paper. DO NOT WAIT!!!
