We've been testing out this Brownells, Inc. BRN4 upper. It's been running great. It does not have the terrible recoil impulse of a 416. That was a nice surprise. The Midwest Industries Inc. rail is an improvement over HKs as well. There's also this super-affordable suppressor cover from New Zealand that works much better than anticipated.
Well be bringing this to classes if anybody wants to run it for some drills.
Yesterday we swapped out the optic to this older HS Gold Dot. And did the 6-round zero. First 2 shots were low at 50. I spun the turret a lot. Next two were rather high. I spun the k**b back down. Never counted clicks. Next 2 were good enough for government work. Ammo was Fiocchi 223A. All zeroing should go this easy.
Well be bringing this to classes if anybody wants to run it for some drills.
