🎉 Our first school-wide fundraiser of the year is underway!

CCCS students are kicking off our Calendar Fundraiser, and we would love your support!

Here's how it works: Supporters can choose a day—or multiple days—on a student's calendar and donate that dollar amount. For example, sponsoring Day 9 means donating $9. Want to give $20? You can sponsor Day 20 or choose multiple days that add up to $20!

✨ A fully sponsored calendar raises $496, and the best part is that it is 100% profit for our school!

Over the next couple of weeks, our students will be reaching out to friends, family members, and others they know to ask for support. We hope you'll consider choosing a day and helping them reach their goal!

🙏 Meet Our Spiritual Advisors!

We are excited and grateful to introduce the spiritual advisors who will be serving our school community this year:

✨ Pastor Doug Lyon — Shiloh Bible Church
✨ Pastor Mike Massey — Ebenezer Faith Bible Church
✨ Pastor Mike Wynn — Grace Bible Church
✨ Pastor Matt Verstraeten — Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church

These dedicated pastors have committed to being actively involved in the spiritual life of our school. Throughout the year, they will attend board meetings, participate in chapel services, and be onsite once a month to connect with and meet with students during dedicated Spiritual Advisement Hours.

We are so thankful for their willingness to invest their time, wisdom, and encouragement into our students, families, and school community. Please join us in welcoming and praying for our spiritual advisors as they serve alongside us this school year! ❤️🙏

Whether you have a few bags from home or a whole lot to contribute, we’d love your help!

📍 Our recycling shed is located across from the small playground near the sports sheds and is open to the public and always accessible.

Simply drop off your bagged aluminum cans, and we’ll take care of the rest!

🎭✨ THE WAIT IS OVER! ✨🎭

We are so excited to officially announce the CCCS Drama Department’s 2027 musical production...

💕 SHE LOVES ME! 💕

We can’t wait to see our students bring this beloved musical to life on stage!

The 2027 Musical is… She Loves Me!

She Loves Me follows shop clerks Georg Nowack and Amalia Balash. They constantly bicker at work, completely unaware that they are secretly romantic pen pals who have fallen deeply for each other through anonymous "lonely hearts" letters.

She Loves Me was nominated for five Tony Awards in 1964. The 1993 Broadway revival won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical and the 1994 Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, while the 2016 Broadway Revival snagged the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design (beating Hamilton!). Considered by many to be the most charming musical ever written, She Loves Me is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old-world elegance. The Mikos Lazlos play Parfuemerie, on which it is based, has inspired many adaptations, including the beloved film You've Got Mail starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks!

We are incredibly excited to get started on every aspect of the show. Between the costumes, set, choreography, and vocals, our gears are already turning and ready to get back on stage for the year!

🚌💛 SCHOOL BUS SAFETY REMINDER! 💛🚌

As we kick off our 2026-2027 school year, we want to remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and watch carefully for our students and school buses.

Please remember that Columbia County Christian School is a designated school zone with a 15 MPH speed limit during these times:

🕖 7:15 AM – 8:45 AM
🕑 2:15 PM – 3:45 PM
📅 Monday – Friday

Please give yourself a little extra time during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal, watch for buses and students, and always obey the posted speed limit.

Most importantly, remember that our students' safety depends on all of us doing our part. ❤️

Slow down. Stay alert. Help us keep our students safe! 🚌💛

Thank you so much to the Columbia Montour Chamber for hosting the 7th Annual Non-Profit Mixer this past week at Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community: The Meadows Community Center!

It was a wonderful night of fellowship and connection with so many worthy causes in our community. ❤️

We at CCCS were especially grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many leaders who are doing incredible work through their missions. We loved sharing our own mission of raising up young men and women in faith and preparing them for the world.

And, of course, we had a little fun along the way with our “Everyone Needs a 'Little Jesus'” 😉 raffle! We can't wait to see where those mini-Jesus figurines end up over the next couple of weeks—being gifted to friends, family, coworkers, or maybe even popping up around our communities! 😂
