HEATHERS THE MUSICAL to Welcome Aniya Thompson as Martha Dunnstock in Off-Broadway Debut Aniya Thompson will make her Off-Broadway debut as Martha Dunnstock in HEATHERS THE MUSICAL at New World Stages, replacing Erin Morton, who received Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Award nominations for the role.

A big welcome to all of the students that joined the studio in June. I look forward to working with you!

Safety is always #1 in the studio. While my studio is in a tornado safe area. I will always do my best to be weather aware and notify you if we need to cancel or shorten a lesson. I am grateful for the communications with my students tonight keeping everyone safe by canceling lessons and making sure we left at a safe time to drive home.

Fall scheduling will start July 6th. If you plan on keeping your lesson time please let me know. It will be first come, first serve for the fall schedule for students currently taking lessons.

Absolutely stunning rehearsal. And stunning is about growth and personal goals being met. Its not about perfect rehearsals or performances. Its about knowing how to handle the mistakes and pivot on a dime and in time (pun intended🎶).

And then every once in awhile a student really makes that big leap. And today one of mine did. A beautiful rehearsal performance that perfectly displayed multiple years of incredibly disciplined work. A moment of brilliant growth, showcased in clarity, tone balance, musical expression and confidence. A testiment to never giving up and trusting yourself no matter how challenging the journey. Bravo...it was an absolutely beautiful afternoon.

I am very proud of all of my students. The growth is tremendous. May Friday be a fun event to celebrate the talent, discipline, and joy that music brings to the human spirit.
