HUGE thank you to members of the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra for visiting & bringing along some instruments! Everyone had a great time & many children were exposed to a French horn, harp, and violin for the first time. We love setting up special visits like this for our students!🎻🪇🎼

Not your average furry friend- today our Pre-K students in el Arcoíris room met a robot dog! They were able to ask many insightful questions & it sparked an interest in science for many of the students. Thank you Dr. Whitley for the memorable experience! 🤖

Today, we’re highlighting our Teacher’s Aide Della! Della has worked at BCGC since her first semester at IU. Now a sophomore studying Environmental Studies, all BCGC students love seeing Della every week!
Her favorite part of working at BCGC is when the kids make art projects for her, and being at BCGC “helps me feel more like a part of the Bloomington community instead of just being a college student on campus.”
When asked about her career goals, Della said BCGC “is helping me stay proficient and learn new Spanish and helps me build foundations for working in outdoor education after college.” Thanks for being part of the BCGC community, Della!💚
