Check this out! What a great opportunity for students.

Pigasus Institute (Bloomington Academy of Film & Theatre // Pigasus Pictures) just announced their 5th annual Project Pigasus, a state-wide high school screenwriting competition!

Indiana students grades 9-12 are encouraged to submit short screenplays. If your script is selected, Pigasus will bring a professional film crew to your town to fully produce your movie!

Students are involved in every phase of production. Upon completion, the short film is shown before select in-state screenings of Pigasus Pictures' feature films, submitted to film festivals nationwide, and is subsequently released online.

How cool is this? Students must submit their screenplay by February 5th. Learn more at https://www.projectpigasus.org/

We spy one of our students out serving the community. Trinity (pictured) and her sister, Devyn, spent part of their winter break honoring veterans. #asebettertogether

Scouts BSA Troop 1148 were just a few of hundreds of volunteers who converged on Rose Hill Cemetery on Dec. 18 to honor and remember out nation's veterans through the Wreaths Across America project, presented by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 18, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #604, Cloven Hoofs Motorcycle Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #7850, and Bloomington Chapter - Daughters of the American Revolution. Phil Knieriemen from The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship received a ReadyUP Champion Award this month.
