Summit Elementary wants to welcome our newest administration team members who are joining Gina Barrow (assistant principal)… Steven Marshall (principal) and Tyler Kelp (assistant principal). The team is working hard to make this another amazing year! We are so excited to see all our Summit Stars next week!
Meet and Greet is Tuesday, Aug.4 . First Day of school for students is Wednesday, Aug. 5. First bell rings at 9:15 am. See you there!

Attend our Elementary School “Meet and Greet” event Tuesday, August 4, 2026 (Day before school) from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at All MCCSC Elementary Schools. Preschool and Pre-K programs are included in the event.

Today we celebrate our Kindergarten Graduates! We are so proud of them and their growth across the year as Summit Stars.

Big day for our 6th Dual Language Immersion students with their culmination field trip to IU, the public library and lunch at El Ranchero using the Spanish language they have acquired during their time at Summit.

Walk-a-Thon was an incredible event today! Huge thanks to Hoosier the Bison, Mayor Thomson, IU Rugby, IU Red Steppers and IU Field Hockey for coming today to cheer on our kids. Also a huge thank you to our PTO and parents who volunteered today. So proud to be a STAR!

Hoosier the Bison here to get the day off and going for the IU Themed Walk a Thon! Little cold to be in the dunk tank all day but the kids are excited.
