Couldn't find the welcome video for the kids teachers. Even my high schooler couldn't.
Hey Summit Parents and Stars! Here’s a great video from Mr. McGinnis explaining our daily schedule!
Now that MCCSC passed the new measure of delayed start AND online what is this going to look like? Who can I can to talk to about what to expect for my children. I CANNOT have an experience like I had in the spring. The teachers did a great job but it was NOT great for my kids. I need to discuss this with their individual teachers. Please tell me who I can call. Thank you.
I think it’s a bit absurd that 5th is requesting 60 Ticonderoga pencils. Don’t you think 30 would of been a bit more reasonable?
Question please...will a separate supply list be required for the students doing school from home? For example, for their headphones, do they need one that also have a mic on it, rather than basic kind from years past? Dry erase markers are on the supply list....do these students also need to buy dry erase boards? Thank you in advance! Together we will get through all of this!
Super Hero Day at Summit Elementary with Noah! We are having a blast participating on Spirit Week with our Kindergarten class friends!

🚗 Incoming Kindergarten Meet and Greet 4/27 5:30-6:30 🚙

Since we were unable to host an in person open house this year, we are instead having a drive up meet & greet to meet our newest students! Please join us on Tuesday, April 27th from 5:30-6:30 at Summit Elementary. We will have our drive thru in both circles at the front of the school. In the first circle, we will have all of our kindergarten teachers spaced out and each passing out something for your kindergartener (prizes and information). In the second circle, we will have open registration if you have not yet registered for kindergarten. We do ask that you: wear a mask, remain in your car, and follow all social distancing protocols.

Go to SETTINGS on the iPad (not in Canvas)
Scroll down to STUDENT CANVAS and select
On the right turn ON the "RESET CACHE ON NEXT LAUNCH" button
Close the app and reopen - it should be fixed, but will require you to login again.

[08/11/20]   Families and Guardians,

Filewave which allows app download on IPADs is temporarily down. IT has been working on this the entire day and the problem will be solved soon.

Thank you!

Hey Summit Families-Mr.McGinnis will be sharing the Summit plan with you no later than July 15th (along with all other MCCSC schools). After you review the plan and decide what’s best for your family, please be sure to register in Skyward.

Even if you’ve registered in the past, you have to fill out new registration information every year. This year it is extra helpful to do it ASAP as it helps the schools plan for the return of students. You’ll need to do it no matter which option you are picking. In step 2 you will choose between in person school or the online academy.

Here is a link to do paperless registration- www.mccsc.edu/skyward

And this is a handy document that breaks down the online registration step by step:https://www.mccsc.edu/cms/lib/IN01906545/Centricity/Domain/67/2021%20Online%20Registration%20-%20Parent%20Guide.pdf
