This particular webinar is being co-hosted by EPA’s Hispanic Employment Program, whose chair Sandra Rivera extends an invitation to all diversity groups and any students and professionals interested in joining clean energy efforts at EPA!

The whole month of March OSDI will celebrate women's history and contributions to society. On behalf of our office, we are highlighting one woman faculty member and woman staff member each week.

This week Dr. Kercher is being highlighted for her amazing work and accomplishments!

Dr. Kercher’s promotion of healthy, sustainable behaviors was recently highlighted in a featured article on NBC’s Today show online platform, “How Much Exercise Do You Need Really? She also recently led a team of international collaborators to publish work exploring fitness trends around the globe, “Regional Comparisons: The Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends.” Dr. Kercher promotes the importance of certification for professional growth with her students which was recently featured in an ACSM column “Three Point Perspective: Discussing the Importance of Certification for Career Growth.”

Dr. Kercher serves as the digital content editor for the ACSM Health & Fitness Journal and a Member at Large for the National ACSM Certification Committee Review Board. At IU-Bloomington Dr. Kercher recently became the Advisor for Exercise is Medicine on Campus, serves on the board of advisors for the Indiana State Wellness Council, is a committee member for the Healthy IU Steering Committee, and a part of the Healthy IU Wellness Coalition.
