Just 3 more days for our Back to School Splash Celebration! Join us Thursday, July 30th, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. All incoming kindergarten through elementary age kids are welcome! Besides celebrating and praying with the kids before they start back to school, we will also be celebrating our outgoing 6th graders as they journey to Student Ministry and start 7th grade. We will have dinner (chicken nuggets, applesauce, chips, and popsicles) and lots of outdoor water fun! Children should wear bathing suits they don't mind to get dirty (messy fun and a slip and slide!), bring sunscreen, and a towel. It's Christmas in July at South Union and we are packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse. Our goal is to pack 100 boxes to bless children around the world with toys, hygiene items, and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Every shoebox is an opportunity to share God's love and make a lasting impact. You can pack online OR bring a packed shoebox to church by Sunday, July 26th!
