If you travel on 10th Street to get to school this morning, please use extra caution near the post office intersection. There is significant standing water in the area, and it may briefly affect visibility if you drive through it.

Please slow down, give yourself a little extra time, and travel safely. We’ll be here and ready to welcome you when you arrive! ❤️

🌟Ms. Eastes’ 2nd grade class lit up the classroom during Glow Day as students reviewed important skills like telling time and place value in a fun, hands-on way. Learning glowed a little brighter with engaging activities, teamwork, and lots of excitement! 🌟

Our Early Learning students recently enjoyed a great day at WonderLab! Students had the opportunity to explore hands-on exhibits, engage in interactive learning experiences, and practice curiosity and problem-solving through play and discovery. It was a fun and engaging experience for our students and staff alike!

💨🪁Our sixth grade mathematicians have been hard at work designing and building tetrahedral kites! Students applied their knowledge of measurement, geometry, and problem-solving skills throughout the project. Yesterday we tested our kites outside, but unfortunately the wind didn’t quite cooperate. Even without much lift, students still had a great time experimenting and learning together. We’re hoping for a little more wind today so our creations can finally take flight!

With summer quickly approaching, 3rd graders at University Elementary are hard at work getting prepared for 4th grade! 🦄

🎓 Today we celebrated our kindergarten graduates! What a joy it has been to watch these little learners grow, laugh, and shine all year long! We are so proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they do next! 🌎✨

MISMATCH DAY - WEDNESDAY, MAY 13th

Our 2nd grade students enjoyed an enriching visit to the historic Tivoli Theatre, where they learned about the theatre’s history and significance within the community. Following the educational discussion, students enjoyed a movie and snack together, making for a meaningful day of learning and shared experiences beyond the classroom. 🎬🍿
