☕💙 ATTN Univee Pre-K & K Parents!
The first day of school is a big milestone—not just for our youngest Univees, but for their parents too.
After you drop off your Pre-K or Kindergarten student into their first day, join us for First Bell Brew! Grab a cup of coffee, meet other families experiencing the same emotions, and start building connections that will last all year. Meet us in the back of school, by the playground pavilion. We’ll be waiting to chat with you!

Will your child ride the bus this year? Please review these important transportation reminders:
• New MCCSC families - and families requesting bus transportation for a child who did not ride last year - should email [email protected] as soon as possible.
• Bus routes, pickup locations, and times will be available in Skyward on Thursday, July 30. Families will also receive a text message with their child’s bus information.
• Download the Versatrans MyStop app to track your child’s bus and scheduled stop time.
Taking care of these steps now will help the first week run much more smoothly! 🚌

Important clarification: Monday evening’s event will include an informational meeting for Pre-K and Kindergarten parents and guardians. Children who attend with their families are welcome and will remain with their families in their classrooms. Families will also have another opportunity to meet teachers and visit classrooms during the district Meet and Greet on Tuesday, August 4, from 3:00–4:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome our youngest Univees! Early Learning and Kindergarten families are invited to an Open House on Monday, August 3 from 5:45-6:15 PM.

This is a special opportunity for children and families to visit the classroom, meet school staff, and become more comfortable with the building before the first day. Please note that childcare is not provided.

One less thing for families to worry about: MCCSC provides the standard instructional supplies students need for school. There are no traditional back-to-school supply lists to purchase!
Your child’s teacher will communicate any personal or classroom-specific items your student should bring. Thank you to our community for supporting the MCCSC referendum and helping make this possible.

Save the date for our school-wide Meet & Greet on Tuesday, August 4 from 3:00-4:00 PM!

Families are invited to visit the building, find their classrooms, meet teachers, and help students feel comfortable before the first day. Teacher assignments and classroom presentations will be shared through ParentSquare earlier that day. We look forward to seeing you!

One of the most exciting back-to-school moments is coming! Classroom teacher assignments will be shared on Tuesday, August 4 through ParentSquare, directly from your child’s classroom teacher(s).
Teachers will also share a digital classroom presentation with important routines, expectations, schedules, and classroom information. Please make sure your ParentSquare notifications are turned on so you do not miss it!
