In 1965 Heartland Head Start began supporting 60 children in McLean County.
Over the course of over 50 years, we’ve been consistent in fulfilling our mission and vision and have grown to serve 275 children and families in McLean and Livingston Counties.

Today at Milestones, our students stepped into the shoes of community helpers! 👩⚕️👨🚒👮♂️ They designed and decorated posters to show who they want to be and how they can make a difference. We are so proud of their creativity, confidence, and big hearts!

We were excited to welcome Vie Jones to our YWCA YC classroom today! 🌱
She spent time with the children helping them plant, tying in perfectly with this week’s lesson on planting. The students had a wonderful hands-on experience and learned so much while having fun!
