The Working Papers in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education is an annual peer-reviewed online publication providing a forum to publish research papers.

Within a conceptual framework that values the integration of theory and practice, the Working Papers in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education publish full-length articles dealing with the following areas of research:

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All papers should be submitted to [email protected]

Book reviews of recent publications in these areas are also welcome. They should not exceed 2,500 words including the bibliography.

Submissions to WPLCLE must be in Microsoft Word document file format.

All submissions should be full length unpublished articles, which will be reviewed by members of the Editorial Board, whose decisions are based upon the relevance, clarity, and value of the articles.

All submissions must be in APA format (American Psychological Association, 6th Edition) and must be between 7,000 and 9,000 words in total length (including the bibliography).

Please include in the body of the papers all related components: charts, graphs, endnotes, footnotes, references, appendices, or other relevant information.

Include an abstract approximately between 150 and 200 words.
Include a cover page with the following information: Article title, your name and contact information, and a biosketch of 150 words.

Any WPLCLE article published elsewhere at a later time should include a reference to WPLCLE. The individual authors hold copyright privileges.

WPLCLE is not responsible for returning articles that have been sent to our office.

Please proofread and edit your article very carefully. If you are not a native speaker of English, please have a native speaker proofread your paper for you.

Please follow Indiana University’s ethical guidelines for research or those set forth by your individual academic institution.

The Department of Literacy, Culture, and Language Education at Indiana University solicits submissions for publication in the Working Papers in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education (WPLCLE).
