ECIE at MCC

The new ECIE session was supposed to start this week, instead, we will start next Tuesday, January 11th at 10 am. About one-third of the class is currently dealing with illness, a couple more families are gone for a couple weeks, and a couple families wanted to wait an extra week. Basically, there would have been maybe two students in class so I decided to wait the extra week before starting the new session. May all of you stay safe, healthy until we meet next week. Most spots for the session starting September 14th have been claimed but there is still room if you are interested in your child attending ECIE. I am keeping the class small due to Covid-19. The session is from September 14th through December 23rd, and the school days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am- 1 pm. The fee for the 14 weeks is $380. The sessions are for children 3 up to 5(before the start of kindergarten) and the child needs to be potty trained.

I am vaccinated and I will wear a mask. Each student will have their own supplies so there will be limited sharing. I will have hand sanitizer to use in the classroom and I will also wipe down surfaces before school starts each day.

I am finally vaccinated against Covid-19, unfortunately, it did not happen until the spring session is basically over. A couple families contacted me about school for the fall. I do not have news about ECIC for the fall yet. I am waiting to hear what the guidelines will be for the upcoming school year from the Minnesota Department of Education.

I apologize for the lack of updates. I was enjoying the beginning of summer break and was taking care of some home things which took longer than expected. Everything is back on track.
