These guys just got back from their bike ride! If you were out and about around the B-Line today you probably saw them! 🙂

This semester we've been studying Botany, so it was great fun to take the 5th-8th grade students to the Missouri Botanical Gardens this past Friday. What an amazing place! Huge THANK YOU to Carmen Buchanan for her help in planning our visit. It was a beautiful day to see an incredible display of God's imagination in creation! Wow!

Mrs. Mahoney's 4th grade class enjoyed a 15+ mile bike ride to and from the Ellettsville Public Library this morning! What an amazing way to spend your Tuesday morning!!!

Such a beautiful morning to have Lauds outside!!! There is nothing like our students getting to begin their school day outside reciting scripture, singing hymns and preparing for their day!

This past week we celebrated finishing our Family Read Aloud book, "The Winged Watchman" by inviting my father, Bill Schulting, to come in and talk to our students about life as a child in N**i occupied Holland during World War 2. It was amazing to see how engaged the kids were! They asked amazing questions and were completely shocked to hear about how the things that we take for granted (like tasting chocolate, eating an orange, or having basic clothing) were impossible during that time. In addition, our students tasted Dutch foods and candy (the salt licorice was a hit), made windmill crafts and had relay races and games to finish off a beautiful day. Thank you to all of the teachers and volunteers who made the day so special and educational for everyone!
