This relaxed, hands-on session hosted by UITS Learning Technologies’ Digital Education Programs & Initiatives will introduce “Gems”—custom versions of the Gemini AI assistant that can be set up to follow your preferences and handle everyday tasks. You’ll rotate through short breakout rooms, see real examples, try things out, and leave with ideas you can actually use right away.

IU Bloomington Staff Council 2025 Election Nominations are open! IUBSC provides leadership in the continual improvement of university policies and practices that enhance the quality of life of IUB Staff not represented by a union while supporting the institutional mission. The organization exists to represent, advocate for, and help staff successfully navigate the staff experience positively. If you're interested in joining us please submit your information below to run for an open position in our May 2025 elections! Nominees must be full-time exempt staff of the university.

If elected, you'll serve a three-year term, starting 7/1/2025 through 6/30/2028. You'll be expected to participate in monthly in-person meetings of the Council and serve on one of our Committees, with a variety of duties and activities available. Learn more at https://staffcouncil.indiana.edu/.

Please nominate yourself or another colleague no later than Friday, May 9th. Eligible nominees will be contacted for follow-up information ahead of the actual election, which will take place May 19th - 23rd.

You’re invited!! Come one come all to this FREE event for the IU community. On Friday April 11th, Late Nite will be hosting their annual Cream and Crimson Carnival at Showalter Fountain from 6pm-12am. Featured attractions include rides, games, music, fire performers, acrobats, and more all free for IU students, staff, faculty, and their families. There will also be food available for purchase from local food trucks and our very own IU Dining.
