The keystones to change rely upon the creation of a learning community that provides students with experiences that are immediately relevant. Knowing yourself well, which is the pathway to knowing and understanding others well and is the pathway to the kind of collaboration that can solve problems and bring people together for the greater good. Valuing the contributions of all members of the learning community. A school works best for each student it serves when the culture of the school is both inclusive and inviting. Judging our success based on the success of our students, particularly those with the highest needs and the most challenges. Tailoring our practices to serve all children, including our own. We will identify all obstacles and barriers to success and work collaboratively to systematically dismantle them. Celebrating and honoring our families and their communities by valuing our students, their diverse histories, and their ancestral backgrounds. Creating a culture where all are important and valued by nurturing, positive relationships with all members of the community. Infusing environmentally responsible practices into our school’s culture and curriculum.

IMPORTANT! Just after posting the early dismissal time reminder, we have now learned that there is sudden major road repair happening at 2nd and Lincoln. We have worked with the City to move our dismissal path to use GRANT instead of Lincoln today. Line up using 2nd and GRANT. Please also take extra precaution because there is a massive hole at 2nd and Lincoln. Thank you for helping us to make this unexpected last minute detour!

Thank you to our amazing neighbors at The Chocolate Moose and ! They have been so kind to us with the flexibility in parking and traffic, and we are grateful. On the night of the Museum of Authentic Work, we watched so many families and staff enjoying Chocolate Moose and several trying 7-Star Indian Cuisine. Thank you for supporting our neighbors! Please let them know how much you appreciate their friendship to our school!

What a great High Five Day! 22 of our grads from the TPS class of 2022 joined us in their high school graduation regalia to be celebrated by their former teachers and our current students. And we had a surprise return of our beloved Mr. John, long-time beloved TPS teacher whose final TPS class was this group of kiddos. What a gift! We wish our TPS grads now graduating high school all the joy, fun, and growth in their next explorations. We love and miss them, and cannot wait for them to come back to visit. We know they will continue to use their hearts, minds, and voices to change the world!
