WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING AT AEPHI IU IN 2018:
Since January 1, 2018, we’ve welcome 54 amazing freshmen to our house! Big/little reveal was an exciting success, and they were initiated about two weeks ago. All of the other members have had the best time getting to know then over the past two months and can’t wait for more! On another note, our house has come together to support the Parkland community in this tragic time after the Douglas shooting. We’ve put together and executed a successful bake sale where we raised $1,000 on the dot to go towards a cause that has yet to be selected that will benefit the Parkland community. Additionally, we have sold over 200 AEPHI Douglas Strong sweatshirts, and all of the proceeds from that will go towards the same cause that benefits Parkland. Additionally, our freshmen are training hard for Quals, which will take place this weekend, and our sophomores are looking forward to their second Little 500 race in April!

Our fall philanthropy event, Hakuna Matatas, took place today and was a success! Our chapter teamed up with the members of ZBT to bring the Boys and Girls Club a great carnival with food, games, face painting, and more! All proceeds from the event will go to the club along with our philanthropy, Sharsharet.

Our President, Michaela Marconi, and sister Rachel Locke at the !! This year aephi is celebrating 10 years of being partnered with our amazing philanthropy, Sharsheret, which helps in the fight against breast cancer within the Jewish community. Yesterday our chapter won an award from Sharsheret, and today at the awards lunch we won two more for our work around campus and philanthropy! We are so proud of all that our chapter has done and will continue to do. We are lucky to be apart of such a great organization!

A HUGE congratulations to all of our aephi seniors on graduation this morning! You all have worked so hard to get where you are and we are so proud of you! You have dedicated so much to our chapter that we are forever grateful for. We hope you leave with cherished memories from your four years as a hoosier, though more importantly, as an aephi sister. Now, go on and do big things!
