We celebrated our 6th graders at their promotion ceremony this afternoon. We have loved watching them grow throughout the year, and their entire time at Fairview. We wish them nothing but the best. You will always be a Fairview Wildcat! 💙🐾

Our 6th graders started a new tradition this morning thanks to their families. They started the day with a Pancake Breakfast in the cafeteria. 🥞

One of our favorite traditions is Human Hungry Hippos! The Wildcat Leaders get the chance to go head-to-head in this fun competition. A few staff members even like to join in the fun with the older students.
Miss Gray and Mrs. Pearson could not repeat their championship this year. Congratulations to Emma and Kinsie for their stellar performance!

We started off the morning with our staff breakfast. Mrs. Wicker was recognized one last time as the Glenda Murray Service Award winner. Glenda was a long-time Fairview volunteer, and an integral part of our PTO as a community member. She decided to step down from the PTO and this award was created last year in her honor.
Congratulations Mrs. Wicker!

This photo is too special not to get its own post. It represents Fairview staff from the 1980s through present day. 💙

We had such a wonderful celebration and a huge turnout to celebrate our 4 retirees after school today. They have all played instrumental roles in shaping the culture of Fairview. Together, they have accumulated over 90 years at Fairview and 124 years in public education - absolutely incredible!
Each retiree will have a book dedicated to them in the Fairview Library. The books were chosen specifically with the retiree in mind. When the book is checked out by a student, it will alert them who the book is dedicated too. 💙
🐾 Mr. Gobert - Principal
🐾 Mrs. Knight - Preventionist
🐾 Dr. Lewandowski - School Pyschologist
🐾 Mrs. Wicker - Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Teacher
It is important to mention that Mrs. Wicker has spent her entire career of 40.5 years at Fairview.
We can’t thank them enough for their unwavering support and dedication to our students, staff, and families of Fairview. You will all be greatly missed!

We didn’t let the rainy weather stop us from celebrating our Wildcat Leaders. Mr. Gobert kept the grill dry and we brought the cookout indoors!
It was so exciting to recognize ALL of our Wildcat Leaders from the 2025-2026 school year. 🐾
