We are honored to have you as Hawks! Thank you Alex, Ella, and Alexandra's Army for helping feed families in need in southern Indiana!
One of the best parts of meeting Ella Spoonmore and Alexandra “Alex” Daley is seeing their eyes light up with joy when these 10-year-old girls talk about how close they are as friends. Still, the best part of meeting them is learning how they’ve combined the joy of their friendship and their love of food in a wonderful effort that helps others—an effort that has led to national recognition for these two fifth-grade students at St. Charles Borromeo School in Bloomington. https://www.archindy.org/criterion/local/2023/02-24/friends.html

This Award recognizes extraordinary young people in our Catholic schools who through their selfless service, innovation, and commitment to social justice are changing the world. Only 10 student projects across the country receive this award each year. The committee was impressed with Alex and Ella’s innovation in creating Alexandra's Army. The Christmas season is approaching, and Cove Alliance needs our help. This year St. Charles will help serve Cove Alliance by jingling bells for their Christmas Fundraising Campaign at St. Charles Church before and after all Masses on Saturday, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th. Each shift is 15 minutes in length, and two families are needed per shift before and after each Mass. Please feel free to be creative and bring your own fun holiday bells, costumes, and props. Please join us as St. Charles serves the children of St. Jerome in Kapeeka, Uganda.
