FREE Stop the Bleed workshop at the Monroe County Public Library (Indiana) Southwest branch conference room, 5:30-6:30pm on Thursday, July 2nd.
Participants will receive and be trained to use a bleeding control kit, including CAT tourniquet.

Children are welcome but will need to be accompanied by an adult and should register individually (please be sure to indicate age on the registration form).

What is ? 🤔
Alpha-gal is a sugar molecule found in most mammals such as cows, pigs, and sheep, but not in humans.
Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is a rare but potentially serious allergic condition linked to bites from the Lone Star tick.
AGS symptoms occur after eating red meat or exposure to other products made from animals.
