Sesame Workshop mourns the passing of Bob McGrath, a beloved member of the Sesame Street family for over 50 years.

A founding cast member, Bob embodied the melodies of Sesame Street like no one else, and his performances brought joy and wonder to generations of children around the world, whether teaching them the ABCs, the people in their neighborhood, or the simple joy of feeling music in their hearts.

A revered performer worldwide, Bob’s rich tenor filled airwaves and concert halls from Las Vegas to Saskatchewan to Tokyo many times over. We will be forever grateful for his many years of passionate creative contributions to Sesame Street and honored that he shared so much of his life with us.

We are getting set up! It’s getting exciting for our trunk o treating!

Went to this open house…so glad Bedford finally got a true center - the community needed one. The programs with in the building is pretty nice too..therapy programs / dual program with Ivy tech and Head start program. This is gonna be a pretty awesome place. Great turn out from the families and community.

A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The teacher said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."

Ms. Jessica brought in the ingredients to make cookies! The Butterfly friends have been practicing cooking skills in their sensory table in preparation for this activity. Ms Jessica will cook these at nap so we can have them for snack this afternoon

Barnyard Class has been celebrating International Dot Day. It's based on a storybook called The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. This morning we read the book and made our marks on circle cutouts. The kids enjoyed using Dot markers and paint sticks. They all turned out pretty amazingly! 😍
