Here is Alondra Salazar from Angelo State University during our outreach event at Wonderlab! She's been doing research in the Baker group this summer!

Introducing Andrew Brown from Louisiana Tech University. This summer, he's been synthesizing carbazoles for solar cell applications in the group led by Amar Flood.

Awesome Job! The REU students presented their research posters today at the Materials Symposium. Congrats to Colleen and Samual for best posters - they will receive support to travel to a conference and present their work.

Welcome to Deyaneira "Danny" Gonzalez-Rodriguez! She is working in the Pohl group this summer and studies at the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao.

Today, the REU students engaged attendees at Wonderlab with their "Building with Chemistry" activities that they designed. So much fun!!

Caught Sophie Yount in the lab! She's working in Prof. Yan Yu's group this summer and is from Georgia State University.

We are happy to welcome Samuel Powell to our REU program. He is working on nanocatalyst synthesis in the laboratory of Prof. Xingchen Ye. He is a student at Ohio Northern University!

Today, the students got to visit Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, followed by Blue Springs Caverns. Cool time!
