Student Fasting Idea: Desserts

Throughout Scripture, fasting, along with prayer and giving, is an important practice that helps us draw closer to God. As we prepare for a new school year, the Clear Creek Christian School community sets aside this week to seek His wisdom, blessing, and direction through prayer and fasting. Wherever you are, we invite you to join us. This year's theme is AMBASSADORS. Each day highlights an aspect of representing Christ and His Kingdom, a person or group connected to CCCS to pray for, and a suggested fasting activity for students (we do not recommend that students skip meals). As you participate, prayerfully consider what God may be calling you to fast during these seven days. Choose a fast that is appropriate for your age, health, medications, and personal circumstances, and let this week be an opportunity to draw nearer to Him as we prepare for the year ahead. Day 1 will start on Wednesday!
