Today was our 3rd annual TKE Toy Drive where our Brothers delivered toys to the children at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. In total, we raised $4,310 to purchase the toys. Thank you to all of those who donated!

This week's Meet-A-Teke is Jason Pearlman (). Jason is a sophomore at IU, studying Sports Marketing & Management. He is from Montville, NJ and is a member of our Eta class (Spring 2016). He is currently a part of our rush and our community service committee. His future plans are to work for professional sports organization doing marketing. A fun fact about Jason is that he has been to Hawaii, Jamaica, Haiti, and Israel.

Now that we are well into the school year, it's time for Meet-A-Teke! Our first featured Teke of the school year is Ryan Cinnante (). Ryan is a junior transfer at IU. He is from Long Island, NY and was a part of the Beta Rho (Spring 2015) class of the Omicron Upsilon Chapter. He is currently majoring in Finance at IU. At his old chapter, Ryan served as both the Historian and the Social Chair. He is also involved as a tennis coach for a Nike camp over the summer at Stanford. Ryan's future plans are to work in the Bay Area of California as an economic consultant for a banking company. Some fun facts about Ryan are that he played college tennis for two years at his old school, and he also plays saxophone!

Now that classes are in full swing and our Brothers are settled into our new house at 1640 N. Jordan Ave., we are very excited to announce our Open House event on Friday, September 23rd from 6pm-9pm. There will be catered food, house tours, and speeches from both current and alumni members of the Gamma Kappa Chapter. The next day, we will be on the tailgate fields for the IU v. Wake Forest game. We ask you to please come join us for this amazing weekend! Go IU!

The Gamma Kappa Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon was recently awarded one of the Top TKE Chapter Awards for the second year in a row! It is such an honor to hold this title, and we are very proud of everything our Brothers have accomplished! This week's Meet-A-Teke, and the last Meet-A-Teke of the semester, is Chris Toth ()! Chris is a sophomore at IU studying Political Science. He is from Baltimore, MD and is a member of our Zeta class (Fall 2015). He is currently serving as on of our Philanthropy Chairs and was just selected as one of our Social Chairs for next semester. Chris is also involved in Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) and MARS. His future career goals are to manage a political campaign on a national level. An interesting fact about Chris is that he has been playing guitar since he was in 7th grade and loves to record music on the side.

This week's Meet-A-Teke is Cam Koenig ()! Cam is a junior at IU studying Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation. He is from Valparaiso, IN and is a member of our Beta class. He served as our Risk Manager in 2014 and 2015 and is currently serving as our Historian. He is also currently serving as one of our Brotherhood chairs. Another group he is involved in is the IU Paintball Club. His future career plan is to open his own comic book/gaming store. An interesting fact about Cam is that he works as a sideline photographer for the IU football games!

Yesterday evening, our intramural soccer team had their first game of the playoffs. It was a great game, and they ended the game, 2-1, with a win! Congratulations to you guys, and we can't wait to see you play again soon!
