This month our adult diploma and GED students visited Normandale Community College. They learned about the different academic programs offered, took a tour with the wonderful Ambassadors, and enjoyed the beautiful campus including the Japanese Garden. Thank you, Normandale, for welcoming us to campus and sharing more about the programs and resources available to our students.

On Administrative Professionals Day we recognize the work of our administrative team. They are both the front facing and the behind the scenes people that make things happen at Metro South!

Each day we are able to operate smoothly because of the hard work they do.

This week is Volunteer Appreciation Week! We love our volunteers at Metro South. We would not be able to do what we do without them helping in our classrooms, labs, tutoring, and more!

Last week, Metro South hosted its annual Community Resource Fair. We welcomed 19 local community partners to come and meet with our students to share information, resources, and support. We are so grateful to everyone who came.

We had around 150 students from our classes attend the fair to learn about what is available to them in the community.
