Make sure to check out this seminar this week: βNurturing a more inclusive STEM communityβ which will be presented by Professor Karen Fleming on Thursday October 10th at 1:30 pm in the IMU Persimmon room. Dr. Fleming is a Professor in the Department of Biophysics at Johns Hopkins University and part of her work has been to evaluate the implicit bias in the scientific community. Attending her seminar will be a great opportunity to learn how to overcome current issues in the STEM community.
