We had a great time last night at out "From Student to Professional" panel with four awesome latino professionals. We are grateful to Luz Flores, Vincent Viveros, David Roman and Edgar Rodriguez for giving us some of their time to share their knowledge about what is like being a latino in the corporate world and for providing tips about how to make a good transition from student to professional.

This weekend, some of our chapter members had the pleasure to attend the Midwest Region Student Symposium in Chicago! We would like to thank ALPFA Chicago for a great experience!

"I joined ALPFA because I wanted to interact with other latino students at IU. I also wanted to join an organization that would allow me to further my pursue of getting involved. To my surprise, I discovered that this organization existed, and I had never heard of it. I was excited to combine networking opportunities with meeting new latino people. When I joined I got the opportunity to become the External Vice President, and through that I got to personally meet various professionals of companies like: Whirlpool, Kohl's, and Altria. I took advantage of those opportunities and I asked a lot of questions about their industries. And now here I am excited to be your President for the upcoming year”

ALPFA is a Kelley based organization, that intends to further the success of Latino professionals. Any individual is welcome to join ALPFA.
