Dance instruction for four year old to high school. Tap and jazz offered. Payment is monthly). Each class is a half-hour class once a week.
Dance/Tumble Combo - ages 4 to 6-year-olds
(This class introduces your child to tap, ballet and tumbling within a half-hour class once a week. Tap and Jazz - ages 7-year-olds through High School
(These classes are Beginner to Advance levels. A dancer may enroll in multiple classes. Adult Private Classes in Tap and Jazz
(This class is a per class pricing only. A half-hour class is $20). Please inquire about other availability by email!

Well, the final Dance Center recital is in the books!! It was amazing!! The dancers were wonderful, my former students came to celebrate with me and it was so special to have all my family there❤️
Just a reminder that I would love to see any former students at the last Dance Center recital on Tuesday, June 2, at 7pm at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. I recommend buying your ticket online so there will not be a long line on show day. Lots of emotions as the show gets closer, but excited to celebrate the memories of the last 56 years🎉

Hello friends,
I would like to share some Dance Center history. I started the studio as The Dixon Dance Studio in the fall of 1970. I had grown up dancing with the Dixon Studio and they offered to help students start their own studio. I had classes in the basement of the Graham Plaza Hotel. In 1980, the Dixon's retired and each studio was now on their own. I changed the name to The Dance Center. In the 56 years, I had the studio in six different locations. The longest was 29 years on Pete Ellis Dr. We all loved that studio location!!
I have taught hundreds of children to dance in that time. I have had many wonderful dance teachers work with me. I can truly say that I have loved every student, family and teacher that I have met through dance❤️
This is The Dance Center's last recital on June 2 at 7pm at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. I would love for you to join me to celebrate the dance moments we have had together!!
