Some of the funds will be designated towards a new portable lighting system in the A200 Acting Studio! This will be a great opportunity for more versatile student projects in A200. "The PhD program in the Indiana University Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance has a long history at Indiana University Bloomington. In consultation with the department, the faculty and we have agreed to spend the 2018-19 academic year developing a comprehensive, sustainable vision for the program’s future.

During that academic year, we will not be accepting applications for the PhD. We encourage applications to the department’s BA, BFA, and MFA programs. This decision is a reflection of our recognition of the department’s legacy, and our belief that the faculty should be given the next academic year to develop a plan for sustaining that excellence in the future."
