Normandale Hills Elementary PTA Normandale Hills PTA supports the families, teachers, staff and students at Normandale Hills elem.

The Purposes of the Normandale Hills Elementary PTA, in common with those of the National PTA and the Minnesota PTSA, are:

a. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community;

b. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth; and

c. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all students the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education. The organization is organized exclusively for the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

This next Monday morning join us for Donuts with Grownups - Pumpkin Spice edition. Stop by the NH Media Center between 8am and 9am on Monday, October 12th and get a chance to greet other parents of NH students over some pastries and coffee.

Kids are welcome to attend with their grownups, but we ask that kids be supervised until they can join their normal entrance line or stay with parents until 8:50am so they can be admitted to the school in a proper manner.

The Book Fair is coming to Normandale Hills next week!

Your purchases at the Book Fair gives back to NH, allowing us to stock the library and classrooms with new titles.

We're still looking for volunteers, before & after school, and some extra hours during conferences. Earn $30 to spend at the fair after volunteering just one shift! Last spring NH SAFARI offered a drawing competition for the kids to enter with the theme of "Food Friends". The kids had the opportunity to get their drawing published in a book and the winning student would win their drawing on the front page and art supplies to help them continue their creative art! We had 10 students selected, and one was chosen for the cover art! Congratulations to these talented NH Knights!
