Indiana University Bloomington students are gaining hands-on experience both in and out of the classroom!

Through the IU College of Arts and Sciences and the Retail Studies Organization, Caymen has attended field seminars in New York, Chicago, Columbus, and Indianapolis, where she’s explored companies including Crate & Barrel, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Ulta Beauty.

Karmen has been working with IU Athletics as an Event Management and Game Operations Intern. She originally came to IU planning to major in business, but after discovering her passion for the sports industry, she changed majors. “It was the best decision I’ve ever made,” she said.

At New Student Orientation, you'll start picturing what your life at IU will look like.

Incoming freshman, congratulations on your high school graduation!

Don't forget to have your school send a final, official copy of your transcript with graduation date to the Office of Admissions as soon as it is available. This maintains your status as an admitted student.

IU School of Public Health Bloomington students are using their experiences and education in their work and internships!

Mia's work as Social Media Manager for the School of Public Health's Office of Career Development and Alumni Relations and the guidance from career coaches and professors helped prepare her for her role as the Media and PR Coordinator for Cusick Morgan Motorsports in the Indy NXT series.

Barry is interning at the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway in Wisconsin. He credits School of Public Health professors with helping him gain confidence as a professional and preparing him for this role.
