Throwing parties, working on committees and promoting academics

PGSC is the physics graduate student government at Indiana University Bloomington. We are concerned with enhancing the graduate experience for physics grad students and are engaged in event hosting and advocacy on behalf of the physics graduate student body. In addition to the above, we serve as a direct line of communication to the faculty, thus allowing the physics grad student body to place input into such things as curriculum, colloquium speakers, etc.

This Saturday, Aug 20th, we are having our first picnic to kickoff the new school year! Additionally, PGSC will be renting out kayaks and canoes at the nearby boathouse for people to enjoy some summer boating fun. Come by the Yellowwood Lake Picnic Shelter at 5pm and enjoy some burgers, hotdogs, salads, chips etc., and then get yourself a boat and have a float on the lake!
