Now that things have settled down a bit, we can reflect on a great time at the 10th ASM Conference on Biofilms in Portland, OR. The conference participants made this a terrific meeting scientifically and socially. Thanks to all for the amazing experience. and especially the Fuqua lab and affiliates for showing up in force.

The ASM 10th Conference on Biofilms starts this coming Sunday (11/09) in Portland, Oregon. Several meeting events will honor our beloved colleague Paul Stoodley, who passed away in 2024. Paul was an avid runner, and in his honor we have an informal 5K run/walk along the Willamette River on Wednesday (11/12), ~1:00pm. Please join us.

The 10th ASM Conference on Biofilms is one week away in Portland, Oregon (11/09-13/25)! Looking forward to seeing many biofilm community members and catching up on the amazing research underway in labs around the world! There is still time to register!

Congratulations to AY Ogunyemi for his masters defense on Friday (Halloween special). Great job AY! He gets the honor of drinking from our (gender non-restricted) pimp chalice as have many lab alumnists before him.
