On Tuesday, we celebrated International Dot Day in our building. Dot day is a special day to celebrate creativity, courage and collaboration inspired by the children's book, "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds. Many classrooms read the story while others celebrated by making dot marshmallow crafts. Building wide we celebrated by wearing polka dots. It was an extra fun day at Oakland!

In honor of September's United in Belonging theme, Oakland staff created personalized puzzle pieces and connected them to show that every piece matters. What an awesome way to celebrate connection, teamwork, and belonging! 💚🦉

Reminder donut orders are due Friday! 🎃 🍩

Our Rader Family Farm Donut Fundraiser starts today! Your student will come home with an order form. All donut orders will need to be pre-ordered. You can pick them up at school on 9/18 during the day or during Bingo Night! Yummy!!
