What a Couple of Weeks!

We’ve had a BIG couple of weeks here at Bloomington National Karate!

First, congratulations to Ms. Allison Huerta-Chicaiza, Mr. Rory Peck, and Mr. Adrian Ramirez on successfully completing their Black Belt Exam and earning their new ranks! We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance each of you has shown throughout your journey.

We also want to congratulate ALL of our students who tested at our most recent exam! Every exam is an opportunity to grow, challenge yourself, and take another step forward—and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone who put in the work.

And finally, we have a bittersweet goodbye to say. Ms. Ledesma is heading back to college! We are so grateful for everything she has brought to our school, our students, and our staff. She has been an incredible instructor and role model, and we’re going to miss having her around every day!

Reminder: Bloomington National Karate will be closed on Saturday, August 8, so our instructors and staff can attend and support the Black Belt Exam.

🥊Teen Black Belt Sparring Class w/ Ms. Sue Lomasney

Ms. Sue is a true pioneer in sport karate. In 2006, she became the first National Karate competitor to earn the prestigious Diamond Ring Award. Throughout her competitive career, she also captured numerous Overall Grand Champion titles, establishing herself as one of the sport's most accomplished fighters.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
