Two weeks from today is Harmony School's End of the Year Pool Party! 🎉

Join us on Saturday, June 20th at Bryan Park Pool (1020 S Woodlawn Ave.) to bid farewell to the 2025-2026 school year! ☀️

Members of the Harmony School community are welcome to join us for this fun and FREE event!

That's a wrap on our Creative Arts camp, concluding the first week of Camp Rhino 2026! ⛺🦏

✍️Up next is Improv & Creative Writing (June 8th - 12th); this camp will give kids of all ages chances to explore acting, storytelling, learning how to respond to other actors in an improv scenario, and more! This camp will be balanced between opportunities for the kids to learn about improvisation and humor, chances to experience quality storytelling with special guests, and to tell their own stories. There will also be a good mix of break time for them to have their own time to enjoy our playground and to play with friends.

🎙️Then Podcast & Storytelling (June 15th - 19th): this camp will focus on how we record our voice and our stories! Campers will have opportunities to record stories audibly! Storytelling will be accompanied by creative exploration of how to create sound effects to enhance their production. Field trips and special guests will bring even more knowledge and insight on how stories are shared through podcasts, radio, audiobooks, and more!

Two new August camps have just been added to Camp Rhino 2026! 🦏

🌳Urban Wild Crafting (Aug. 10th - 14th): Adventure is closer than you think! This week we will explore both urban and natural spaces while learning outdoor skills and creative ways to work with the world around us. We’ll build natural forts in the woods, learn how to pitch tents, identify useful plants, discover wild edibles, practice fire-building skills, and create nature-based art and structures. Students will leave with new skills, confidence outdoors, and hands-on experiences in shelter building, fire making, and wild crafting!

🪻Making Color (Aug. 17th - 21st): Come discover the colors hidden all around us! Through foraging, gardening, and experimenting with natural materials, we’ll create paints, inks, and dyes from plants, minerals, and other found materials. Learn how to extract color, change colors through casual chemistry, and create beautiful artwork using techniques like fabric dyeing, sun printing, botanical printing, and more. Students will leave with unique projects they created from beginning to end and from gathering materials and making dyes to crafting finished works of art!
