Scribbles Center for Learning Inc Scribbles Center For Learning was designed with families in mind! Offering curriculum based learning for children 6 weeks to 12 years.

Scribbles Center For Learning was designed with families in mind – flexible scheduling options, a child-based, project-centered curriculum preparing children for the public school standards, and age appropriate classroom and playground equipment. We have designed Scribbles Center For Learning to be what we as parents want and deserve in an environment that cares for our children’s needs. In short, we are the product of community research, parent suggestions, professional guidance, and our own personal experiences in seeking out childcare. Our program caters to families with children of preschool age (3-5) who want to become part of our preschool program, children of school age needing before and after school care, and little ones from as young as 6 weeks old who need part-time or full-time care child care. We strive to accommodate the needs of the entire family. We transport to and from Grove, Towanda, and Northpoint Elementary schools for before and after-school care and provide a before and after-school program on-site at Benjamin, Hudson and Pepper Ridge Elementary Schools.

Our PK 1 class is kicking off Valentines Day by decorating their own bags so they can pass out Valentines to each other! The students were given a variety of supplies to use including markers, stickers and dot markers to decorate their bags. Allowing the students to create process art fosters authentic creativity, self-expression, and cognitive growth in children.

Our Preschool classrooms practice 𝗛𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆, which is a systematic 10–12 minute daily foundational skills curriculum focused on building phonemic awareness for Pre-K through 3rd grade. It uses oral, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques (hand motions) to help students isolate, blend, segment, and substitute sounds. The program, which covers rhyming, syllables, and phonemes, is designed to be used alongside existing literacy programs to improve decoding and reading skills in preparation for kindergarten.
