Olivia and Athena advanced to the Piano Playoffs at the Indiana Arts Festival on Saturday AND they both won their respective levels and will move onto the state competition on June 1! Congratulations to these talented pianists! I’m a very proud teacher!

I was invited to get a group of piano students from my studio together to provide cocktail party entertainment for the mayor’s State of the City gathering at the Waldron on Thursday evening. Several students along with my oldest child performed with ease and professionalism for close to an hour. I am one proud teacher!

One silver lining to the pandemic is when former students have time for practicing and lessons again! ❤️
Greetings! I am offering a three-week intensive Zoom music theory class session geared towards children, ages 8-18, who already study an instrument. The session will include two hour-long classes per week, for a total of six classes. Students will be divided by age and level and work through various theory concepts with drills and games. The concepts will include note naming, intervals, chord identification, reading lead sheet notation (accompanying pop songs), and some simple composition. It’ll be a lot like the music fundamentals classes I teach at IU only geared towards children. Please PM me if you know of someone who might be interested. 👩🏫🎼🎹🎻
