As you’re enjoying a well deserved break, here’s a quick reminder about the “summer slide.” When students stop reading over the summer, they can lose up to 2 months of reading growth, but the good news is it’s easy to prevent!

Just 10 to 20 minutes of reading a day can help keep skills strong and ready for the next school year. Books, comics, recipes, signs, bedtime stories, it all counts! 📚

Keep those brains growing, keep exploring, and most importantly, have a fun, safe, and relaxing summer!

Mrs. Lehr, our amazing media specialist, is serving up a fun reminder to get those library books turned in! The first three classes to return all of their books will earn a tasty nacho chip treat! 👏🏼

All library books are due Wednesday, May 13! Please help your student check backpacks, bedrooms, and anywhere those books might be hiding!

Let’s get those books back and see which classes come out on top! 🌟🚀💫
