Submissions for the Virtual Showcase are due tonight at midnight! Send a video of whatever art you would like to share to [email protected]!

Virtual Showcase submissions end this Friday at midnight!

We are not picky about audio/video quality! Record yourself on your phone, a we**am, or whatever else you might have to use. We just want to help share some art with the world!

Remember to submit to the virtual showcase by next Friday, April 17th!

ANNOUNCEMENT - Loud Mouth Monday Virtual Showcase!

In lieu of our typical monthly open mic, we will be putting together a video to showcase the fabulous artists of Bloomington-Normal! To do that, we need you, the incredible talent of our community, to send us some of your art!

To submit, record yourself sharing whatever it is you'd like to share (a peom, song cover, original music, visual art of some kind, etc) in a video no longer than 5 minutes. Then, send it to our email, [email protected], through a file, a YouTube link, or however else you feel comfortable sending it to us. Just like with our open mics, THIS IS NOT EXCLUSIVE TO IWU STUDENTS! If you know anyone who might be interested in participating, let them know they are more than welcome to send us something!

We will compile the submissions we get and post a video of them by the end of April.

We look forward to seeing your talents and sharing them with the LMM community!

Update about COVID-19 -

As of right now, it is questionable if we will run our April Loudmouth Monday. Illinois Wesleyan is closed until March 29th at the earliest, with an acknowledgement that they may be closed longer, and we're not sure how we feel running a well-attended event in a smaller space like we usually do with the outbreak.

With that said, we're working on some ideas to bring y'all some amazing local spoken word art in early April using the power of the internet, so we will keep you posted on what's up with that!
