The American Institute of Bangladesh Studies (AIBS) and the South Asia Institute (SAI) at the University of Texas at Austin will hold a conference on Bangladesh, focusing on scholarly examinations of different socio-politico-economic and cultural perspectives on Bangladesh.
The in-person conference is scheduled for Thursday 18 April and Friday 19 April at UT Austin.

UPDATE: Indian Elections 2024 event
The panel and public discussion on April 17 of India’s upcoming elections will now include the perspectives of the Consul General of India (Chicago), Mr. Somnath Ghosh.
This is an opportunity to engage a representative of the Indian state in what is one of the country’s most consequential elections.
