Why PCT Wednesday 📝

From Sharayu Deo, a rising sophomore and member of our Spring ‘25 pledge class!

She states, “I chose PCT because it was the place at IU that I felt the most at home. Everyone is genuine, intelligent, and welcoming, and there was no other place I’d rather have made my best friends. Whether it's joining an organization, exploring career choices, or asking for help in life in general, I can rely on my brothers for advice and support throughout the journey. Joining this family was the best thing I’ve done since coming to college and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!”

Sharayu is a Finance and Sustainable Business major with a minor in Economics. This summer, she is working on her startup with the goal of creating youth environmental education lesson plans, supplemented with materials to make sustainability education more accessible to K-12 schools. She recently published a children’s book called “The 3 Letter Word Book” to inspire young people to continue being curious in life no matter what.

We are incredibly proud of Sharayu’s accomplishments, passion for everything she does, and positive impact she has made on PCT already.
