History:
Pi Kappa Phi was created in 1904 at the College of Charleston by three brave men who wanted to start their own fraternity.

Andrew Alexander Kroeg, Jr, Simon Fogarty, Jr, and Lawrence Harry Mixson made a choice to lead. A little over four years later, Pi Kappa Phi had spread nationwide. With over 100,000 members to date, Pi Kappa Phi has truly become a national fraternity. The values and beliefs that were created by these three founders have spread to Bloomington, IN, where the Alpha Psi Chapter resides. With 196 active members, the Alpha Psi Chapter has grown to be the largest Pi Kappa Phi Chapter in the nation.
