Free University of Monroe County provides non-credit classes for adults 18 years of age or more in a variety of subject areas. Classes are taught in a relaxed environment that encourages exploration of new areas of knowledge, acquisition of useful skills, and having fun in the process. Free University of Monroe County offers low-cost classes taught by community members for community members, opportunities to meet new people, and personal enrichment through the joy of learning. Round up your family and friends for a fun, spring filled day! Local gardening representatives, including Hoosier Hills Food Bank, TC Steele, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, and Bloomington Community Orchard (just to name a few!) will be in attendance providing information about their agency as well as exciting gardening activities for everyone to enjoy! From seed saving to vermicomposting to container gardening, this free event is ready to welcome spring the right way, rain or shine!

Please bring non-perishable food items to donate to local food banks
