BLS began in 1952 and offers a complete academic curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade with extensive extra-curricular activities in a Christian atmosphere. In 2002, we opened a second location, Living Hope Lutheran School, to serve the Prior Lake, Savage, and Shakopee areas. Christian education has always been important for our church members. In our school, we use an efficient means

of meeting Christ’s command of “Feed My Lambs” (John 21:15) and assisting parents in the spiritual nurturing of their children. It is our earnest desire to develop a working relationship with our students and their parents in order to offer sound, well-rounded Christian education here at school and extended into the home.

🏐 Volleyball Camp Starts Today! 🏐

We are so excited to welcome all our Lady Eagles to the Shakopee campus for Volleyball Camp! 💙🦅

Camp runs 9:00 AM–Noon today, and our athletes will be learning new skills while sharpening the ones they already have. They’ll be working hard, building confidence, and preparing to take their volleyball game to the next level!

We can’t wait to see what these Lady Eagles accomplish this week! 🏐💪

This summer has been packed with art projects and outdoor adventures for the Larkin family! I have had fun making lino cut prints and tumeric anthotype prints using flowers and plants from my garden. We also spent a week on the south shore of Boston at Humarock Beach. We are also headed to Bemidji before school starts for a long cabin weekend.

We’re excited to welcome all enrolled K-8 students and their parents to our Bloomington Campus Orientation Night on:

📅 Thursday, August 20
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM

This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, hear from our principal, and get ready for a wonderful school year!

Please plan for approximately 25 minutes with each homeroom teacher. If you have more than one student, you will need to allow 25 minutes for each homeroom teacher.

You will also have a 25-minute presentation with the principal.

All Bloomington Campus Pre-K students are invited to stop by their classroom anytime between 4:00–6:30 PM for Pre-K Orientation!

Come meet your teacher, explore your classroom, and get a sneak peek at what’s in store for the school year. Be sure to bring your little learner along so they can meet their teacher and begin getting comfortable in their new classroom!
