Join us in congratulating our 2026 Teacher of the Year honorees! All were honored at our awards ceremony earlier this month.

Hallie Davis demonstrates exemplary instructional practice in her eighth grade English Language Arts (ELA) classroom at Tri-North Middle School through clear structure, strong relationships, and engaging, relevant instruction. Students enter her classroom knowing exactly what to do through efficient bell work, clear learning targets, and a posted agenda. She makes abstract concepts like tone and mood accessible through real-world examples, familiar texts, and multimedia — including movie trailers that prompt analysis and discussion. She offers students meaningful choice in how they take notes, supporting diverse learning preferences while maintaining high expectations. 📝🎬

From day one, Hallie has been an active part of the Tri-North community, sponsoring the Yearbook and Drama Club, taking pictures at school events, and opening her room for student interventions. She is collaborative and positive with colleagues, fitting seamlessly into the school culture from the start. She is curious about her craft, actively seeks feedback, and applies that learning purposefully in her instruction. As her nominator shared, "Hallie jumped right in at Tri-North, quickly building relationships, contributing positively to the school culture, and establishing herself as a thoughtful and reflective educator." 💛🎭

8th grade ELA students are learning about the Civil Rights movement and beyond and have created this timeline from 1940-2020!

Our 7th grade Girls Basketball Team got 2nd place in the tournament yesterday, winning 2 of their 3 games!

This week, we also had two of our Trojans honored for their excellence. Peter Thies and Ms. Hallie Davis were honored! We are so proud of them!

It is National School Counselor Week and here at Tri-North, we have the two best counselors, Mrs Howell and Mrs Thies! This week all the students shared graphics and thank you notes coordinated by our E-Sports Team and then also got time to play their favorite games with the team during Trojan Time today! Parents/caregivers and community members please take a minute to thank our amazing school counselors!
