We’ve been doubly blessed recently! Not only did we receive a “Top Program” award but we were one of two programs nationally to be the recipient of the “OUTREACH 2026” award. Kindermusik International says of this award: “Each year K.I. recognizes programs who go above and beyond to bring the power of music and movement to under-resourced families. This Thursday, August 27th the Friends of the BCPA have their Kick Off Event at Jack Lewis Jewelers to announce this year's Music as Medicine Concert. The Friends of the BCPA will be the receipients of funds from the October 2026 event. As recipients of concert proceeds last year, we invite our friends to show support for the BCPA and stop by on Thursday. RSVPs are requested at [email protected] or 309-434-2763. 🎶 We are so THRILLED to announce that we have been named a Kindermusik TOP PROGRAM this week by Kindermusik International! We are honored to be in the Conductor's Circle level - the top 1% - AND #4 in the entire world. 👏

As we head into year #33 at Music Connections Foundation, we are so grateful to again acheive this top honor, but this year, acheiving new heights as the 3rd largest in the United States.

The award reflects the passion and excellence of our incredible MCF team and their commitment to our mission to bring the power of active music-making through Kindermusik to all. It also acknowledges the dedication of our community in recognizing and valuing the importance of music education for our youngest kiddos and families.

Thanks to our leaders, our teachers, our administrators, our families and to Kindermusik for reminding us of the breadth and depth we can collectively reach in changing the world with music, one song, one child at a time!

And just like that…Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has come to an end. 🌈✨

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported us over these past two weekends — you sold out EVERY. SINGLE. SHOW! 🤯❤️ We are beyond grateful for every person who helped make this show so special.

We are especially thankful for our incredible cast, orchestra, and the entire team behind this production who poured so much heart, talent, and hard work into bringing Joseph to life.
It has been such a joy working alongside Prairie Fire Theatre, and we truly hope this is just the beginning of more opportunities to come together and create something special. Until next time! 🌈💛
