Kelley Spring 2022 Virtual Career Fair is on Monday, January 24 from 2-7 pm EST on HANDSHAKE.

Here are some tips for a successful virtual career fair experience:

📌 Set your profile visibility to “Community” to be able to participate in virtual fair sessions.
📌 Check your Handshake profile to make sure your school year, graduation date, major(s), GPA, and work authorization status are accurately reflected.
📌 Upload your updated resume and mark your resume as "Featured on Profile" to allow employers to view your resume after you sign up for their sessions.
📌 Only use Chrome or Firefox, Edge and Safari are NOT recommended by Handshake.
📌 To attend the sessions on Monday, log in to your Handshake account and navigate to Kelley Spring 2022 Virtual Career Fair, click the "Your Schedule" tab and click the blue "Join video" button.
📌 Be on time for your sessions. You can join up to five minutes early to test your audio and video connection.
📌 It is important that you attend the sessions you signed up for and committed to. If you are not able to attend a session make sure to cancel your session registration so another student can sign up.
📌 Handshake automatically disables participant audio and video in group sessions with more than 15 participants to preserve session quality. If this occurs use the Raise Hand feature, your audio and video will be usable once the host calls on you.
📌 Handshake does not support virtual backgrounds, make sure you have a clean and tidy space behind you during the event.
📌 Dress for the event (business professional) and keep your video on.

If you have any technical issues and need help during the virtual fair, you can connect with Kelley UCS Coaches from Handshake by clicking "Join Virtual Help Room".

We reflect and honor the courageous life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Let today serve as a reminder of his vision of racial equality and social justice.

✨Help us promote you to companies that are actively hiring! ✨

A resume book is a digital compilation of students’ resumes, by major and graduation year, that Kelley UCS makes available for hiring employers at their request. This helps us promote you to companies! Employers request resumes of students who are in the job market, so if this is you, upload your resume as soon as possible to help maximize your visibility to companies.
However, uploading your resume to Handshake does not automatically include you in a resume book – you have to follow these steps:

1. Log in to Handshake
2. Click on “Jobs” and search on Kelley Resume Book
3. Select the “job title” that corresponds to your academic year/major, then click APPLY
As a reminder, your Handshake record is based on academic standing as determined by the registrar (based on credits). If your class year is not correctly reflected, this is an editable field. To edit, click on the pencil in your profile and update your class year to accurately reflect Sophomore, Junior, Senior.
4. Attach/Upload your resume, then click SUBMIT APPLICATION
5. You may apply to more than one resume book if you are pursuing more than one major by simply repeating these steps.

‼️ IMPORTANT‼️ If your status changes (i.e. you accepted an offer, are no longer seeking, etc.), withdraw your application from the resume books, report your employment and stop by at Prebys Career Center to get your swag!
