**Throwback alert!!** Spotted in the staff workroom. We're still not sure exactly whodunnit, but as to the *why*, we're pretty confident that Kindergarten's recent Wild West night (and the Wanted posters that go with it) stirred up some nostalgia around here. Have YOU seen these two dangerously adorable hombres? It's a been a while since these mugshots were taken, so they (and their known associates) are now several feet taller and usually found in the general vicinity of 8th grade. But the message still rings true, for both them and YOU, Warrior Fans - big or little, we are Wanted by God. 🥰❤

It's a new week, Warrior Fans, and outstanding news is COMING IN HOT - straight from the shores of Lake Michigan and Concordia University Wisconsin. Why THERE, you may ask? Because *that's* where our Cross Country Warriors ran their hearts out this weekend, with our Boys taking 2nd in NATION!!! Fans like ourselves couldn't be more proud of ALL of our athletes and the way they represented our school this weekend!!

In the midst of all the excitement and victory pics in front of one of the best backdrops ever, we also loved looking on as Coach Busse wrapped up the season in the exact same way he started it: by uniting his team in a heartfelt huddle, and giving it ALL to God in prayer.💙🤍🫶

If you've ever wondered whether Chapel Buddies are *only* buddies in chapel, this is the part where we get to grin really big and shout a gleeful "no way!!" While everyone knows about the whole sitting-together-and-bonding-in-chapel every Wednesday thing, it makes our hearts so happy to also get glimpses of Big and Little buddies meeting up for whole-class playdates on the playground, exchanging high-fives and hugs when passing in the the hall, and THIS... just sprawled out reading together on Friday afternoon. 🥰

Magnificent Monday vibes headed your way, Warrior Fans!! The sun is shining, the leaves are changing, and we have LOTS of reasons to start this week celebrating. Not only did we have the honor of hosting the LSA State Cross Country meet this weekend (which we love doing in and of itself), but we ALSO had the thrill of watching our Girls take 4th in state!! And our Boys... welllll... THEY'RE STATE CHAMPS!!

We are so proud of our ALL runners and their amazing coaches!! Blue and white look so great together... especially when they're moving fast. 💙🤍

Only **TWO WEEKS** to go until we roll out the red carpet for grandparents, friends, neighbors and the other most special people in our students' lives... or as *we* like to call them: the Notorious VIPs. Friday, October 31st is the big day, and we're already hailing it as the Trifecta of Awesomeness: the school FULL of our favorite special people, early dismissal to kick off the weekend... *AND* it will be Halloween/Reformation Day, too?? This one's gonna be OFF. THE. CHAIN.

VIPs may arrive as early at 7:45am (but not before then, please) to park, check in and enjoy refreshments, and the program kicks off in the Gym at 8:45. Then it's a full morning of fun and memories with your best kiddos!!

If there's a playground out there that's been good and blessed, it's THIS one... and not just because of a beautiful dedication prayer by a special pastor. Because of all the generous hearts and hard-working hands that built it. Because of the awesome kids - now and in the future - who will make memories here. And because it's a place where not only our *own* school family, but also neighbors and community members, can feel welcome and build friendships while sharing God's love. AMEN. ❤

Time for our Fall Athletics Warriors to make some memories!! Team and individual photos for 5th-8th grade athletes are *tomorrow* afternoon (Wednesday, October 8th) right after school. All students who participated/are participating in softball, baseball, golf, soccer, Cross Country, and girls' basketball, please remember your uniforms and equipment! It's a new week, Warrior Fans, so listen up! Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and you totally should), is to score some sweet VIP Day spirit wear for your special people before the big day! The store closes at midnight on October 17th, so there's still time to figure out sizes, colors and styles. Just think of these as snuggly hugs for grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, neighbors and babysitters that they can wear anytime (but especially on VIP Day).
