Abstract Origins - BCAI Cultural Arts & Humanities Gala is Friday, April 24th from 6 to 9pm. Have you purchased your ticket(s) yet?
Each ticket purchase impacts BCAI and its students. A percentage of your ticket is broken down as follows:

• 45% scholarships
• 40% BCAI operations
• 15% student opportunities.
Scholarships are awarded to help students attend BCAI functions such as the 4-week Summer Arts program. BCAI operations include providing a safe space for our students. And student opportunities consist of helping fund students who want to continue to train to become leaders and coaches to BCAI students.

Creative Justice. Community Imagination.
Join us this Spring for Echo Building part 2, for youth ages 8-16, hosted by BCAI Cultural Arts & Humanities and supported by a grant from Illinois Humanities’ Envisioning Justice initiative.
Through music, workshops, art, and sustenance, we’re creating a space where youth, adults, and community partners can build forward together — confronting the impact of incarceration through cultural celebration, immersive learning, and skill-sharing led by justice-impacted facilitators and local educators.

Each event includes:

🧠 Skill, health, and knowledge workshops: Sound Healing, unconventional Storytelling, Hip Hop centric Songwriting, Dice Roll Story Creation
